DUE TO PREDICTED STORMS & RAIN, FOUNTAIN DAY 2024 has been cancelled. The Central Park fountain will still come at 9am Tuesday, April 16 as planned.
Kansas City is known as the “City of Fountains.” Every year in April the entire city celebrates Greater Kansas City Fountain Day — when all publicly-operated fountains get turned on. This year, that day is Tuesday, April 16, 2024.
In celebration of Fountain Day 2024 Zona Rosa will be doing a special event!
Fountain Day Celebration
Tuesday, April 16 | 9am – 11am
Central Park (green space in front of Bravo)
Enjoy coffee & breakfast burritos from the Bravo Italian Kitchen and be one of the first to play in the Central Park fountain in 2024. The fountains will officially come on at 9am. Plus, a special balloon photo opp wall provided by @ballooninstakc
SPECIAL GIVEAWAY: Fountain Day goodies. We will be handing out our 2024 coupon books and a beach towel (in case you get wet!). Limited quantity, first-come, first-serve!
A little about the Zona Rosa fountains: Known as a “pop fountain” there are 21 programable led lighted spray heads each one capable of spraying a lighted stream 16 feet into the air. Our fountains “dance” and pop up from the ground.
